"Houses for Bats"

The project aimed as specific objectives the identification and determination of new species of bats in Suceava County and their protection by buiding "alternative accomodations" – Homes for Bats. The project activities aimed to promote the importance of bats protection bu organising workshops and distributing informative materials.

Results:

there have been built houses for 4 species of bats made of pine and poplar planks,

14 groups of volunteers have been created; their members were intersted to involve in activities of bat protection;

14 bat detectors have been built (heterodina type); the ecquipment was distribuited on free to the volunteers groups.
